Solo 2 contras:
1: Fuimos en plena semana santa de 2024 y como el clima cambió tan radical y yo tengo una bb de 2 meses, sentía que la calefacción se quedaba corta ya que es una casa muy grande.

2: Bayetas de cocina en mal estado y toallas olían un poco mal.

De resto recomiendo la casa de Greet con toda seguridad.

We could walk to Praia do Norte, the lighthouse at Sitio and to the beach at Nazare (although Nazare was a longer walk). Thank you, Geert!

  We loved our visit & would definitely stay at Geert’s again! We were 4 women visiting Nazare for 5days in January. Geert was great, allowed early check-in, provided a list... read more of restaurants, had someone meet us at the house & quickly responded to questions before & during our trip. Lots of space with 4 bedrooms (2 face the pine woods and ocean) with firm beds and 3 bathrooms. The common area is comfy & open, the kitchen stocked with plates, cooking utensils, and dishwasher. The clothes washer worked well. If the weather was better we’d have spent time on the roof deck (great ocean view) and used the pool. The home’s location met all our needs, having a mini mart (we bought cooking basics & snacks), restaurants and a couple of bakeries-about 10-15 min walk. The funicular to the beach was under repair, so we drove to town & to Fort of San Miguel for watching amazing surfers on the big waves-both a quick 10min drive & from Geert's to Alcobaca, Obidos, Coimbra & Sintra, about 1h-1.25h drive.

La maison est très agréable, neuve, bien décorée, très propre et de taille parfaite pour un groupe... read more comme le notre.
La vue de la maison est également parfaite : vue sur la mer et pas de vis à vis.
L'emplacement est lui aussi un point fort, possibilité de faire pas mal de chose à pied (accès à la plage et au haut de Nazaré, différents restaurants, etc...) et le centre de Nazaré n'est qu'à 5 min en voiture.
Si nous devions donner des points négatifs : certains équipement semblent un peu usés, par exemple, l'eau de la douche qui s'écoule difficilement, les poeles pour la cuisines très usées.
Aussi nous avons eu une semaine avec presque que de la pluie et avons ressenti un peu d'humidité dans la maison, notamment notre linge qui a mis plusieurs jours à sécher.
Mais cela n'enlève rien aux nombreuses qualités de la maison.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans la maison de Geert l'an prochain !

Market in the center of Nazaré was amazing , and we can highly recommend, as we cooked our own meals every single night , (our party of 6 had two chefs- one breakfast and one dinner !) ….enjoying ultra fresh fish , vegetables and wonderful breads .
The bbq came in handy as well 👍🏼
House was very comfortable and dining was perfect with a nice large table. We enjoyed games of scrabble during down time .
The location is perfect - we did a day trip to Obidos to climb the ancient wall and wander the quaint streets
So I give Geert 5 stars for a wonderful stay !

Great place for family to spread out

The walk to the beach through the nature reserve was lovely. It was... read more also easy to walk into the local town and see the views over Nazare. It was also a short drive to a good supermarket.
It was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
The lift down to town is currently out of order and walking back up the cliff from Nazare is quite strenuous.
We got a taxi into town for dinner and finished a little after 10pm. But at this time there were no taxi’s available to take us back up the hill.
So worth checking before you go out that you can easily get back.
